1. Get Medical Help Immediately
- Go to a hospital emergency room or call 911.
2. Follow Up
- Emergency personnel will insert a catheter, or narrow tube, into the urethra to drain the bladder.
- Doctors may perform several tests to determine the cause and treatment.
